All users of Colt Hill Clubhouse shall be made aware of the code of conduct for the Clubhouse. 

It is the policy of Basingstoke and Deane Canoe Club (the Club) that all users of Colt Hill Clubhouse should show respect and understanding for each other and conduct themselves in a way that reflects the principles of the Club. Everyone using the Clubhouse must abide by the operating procedures. The essence of good ethical conduct and practice is summarised below.

All

Treat other users with respect at all times on and off the water. 

Co-operate with and listen to the person in charge of your group.

Control tempers and avoid behaviour which may inconvenience or upset others.

Take good care of all property and facilities belonging to the Clubhouse and to other users.

Park your car with care and consideration for others.

Ensure the Clubhouse is clean and tidy when you leave.

Ensure that doors and gates are closed when not in use.

Comply with your own organisation’s rules, code of conduct and the like.

When the changing rooms and club room come into use: keep the main entrance lobby and other fire exits clear and free from obstruction at all times.

 

Keyholders

All keys remain the property of Basingstoke and Deane Canoe Club.

All keys shall be promptly returned to the Club at the end of use.

Additional keys shall not be cut.

 

Users of the Basingstoke Canal

Ensure you have a current valid licence to use the Canal.

Respect the rights of others including anglers and boaters to use and enjoy the Canal.

When the changing rooms come into use: use the Clubhouse rather than the car park for changing.
