TrywerynWhite water paddling in the UK is dependant on rainfall to bring the rivers up to a suitable level The decision on which section of a river to paddle on Club trips will be made on the day based on the weather forecast and on water levels. Whilst we will do our best to find sections at a suitable level, if the river levels are too low, paddling may be abandoned to avoid environmental damage. If river levels are high either paddling may be abandoned or less experienced paddlers may be told not to paddle.

To avoid disappointment, it is always worth bringing a pair of walking boots, and waterproofs, or sussing out the other local attractions in advance. If you are into mountain biking, possibilities for this are usually good. Wherever we go, there is always excellent countryside to enjoy.

To book a place on any trip please speak to the organiser. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis, subject to there being sufficient experienced paddlers to lead groups. A £20 deposit will be required to reserve each space. In previous years some trips have been fully booked by the end of September, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
