In November 2022 we will be visiting the River Barle in north Devon. This scenic river is mainly grade 2 white water, though if the water levels are high, the top section from Tarr Steps to Dulverton can be continuous grade 3 with an alpine feel.

Club Members Only
We shall be staying at Northcombe Camping Barn (click here for directions). This is a timber camping barn on the outskirts of Dulverton. It has a kitchen, a dining room / lounge with a wood burning stove and a number of showers. We shall be dining in on Saturday evening. It can sleep up to 26 in two large dormitories. You will need to bring your own sleeping bag, pillow etc.
This trip is a package which includes organisation, river leadership, accommodation and dinner on Saturday night.
