The Club has a number of distress flares for use on sea and tidal trips.
These have a limited life and are replaced every four years, at a cost of between £40 and £70 each time. To cover the cost of replacements there will be a small charge for anyone attending a coastal paddle:
- £0.50 for evening paddles
- £2.00 for each day on day trips or weekends
- £10.00 for the whole summer season
