6th to 8th December 2024
In December we will be making our yearly pilgrimage to the River Usk in South Wales. This is a scenic touring white water run on mainly grade II water. There are some grade III drops near Sennybridge, at Mill Falls and at Spuhler’s Folly, although all can be portaged. A good river to practice your boofing!

We shall be staying at Perth-y-Pia farmhouse, near Crickhowell (http://perth-y-pia.co.uk/). The Farmhouse is set in a courtyard, on a remote hillside, with a steep access track, and therefore we shall be dining in on Saturday evening. The Saturday evening meal is included, but you need to bring your own beverages.
Accommodation details:
This converted fifteenth century farmhouse comprises a living area with an open fire, a fully equipped kitchen, bedrooms sleeping up to 4 each, and a number of decent showers.
Pillows and duvets are available, but no linen, so you must bring your own, or bring a sleeping bag.
