October 2011
After a period of activity October has been a month to take stock. The wildflower meadow mix sown in September has germinated well and is gradually greening the eastern end of the site: definitely a success.
However, on the towpath boundary the corrugated iron remnants of the former goatsheds that are the fence have blown over and have had to be re-erected: a set back.
Away from the site we are working to arrange for the permanent fencing and gates to be erected: with luck this should take place later in November.
