The winter weather continues to be better for paddling than working on the land at Colt Hill; so another Saturday morning starts with an hours of pumping to remove the lake.
With just Colin and Peter working our aims were limited:
- Drain the lake;
- Complete filling by the catchpit;
- Construct the base of the drawpit on the west side of the gate;
- Start filling the hole on the west side of the gate.
