The roof has been completed and the scaffolding has finally been stripped to reveal how the clubhouse will look.
Carpentry and Roofing
The steels to support the roof hips have be erected and the final rafters have been cut and fitted.
The whole of the roof has been tiled: battens and under-sheeting fitted, tiles placed, hip tiles and ridge tiles bedded and lead work completed around window and louvre in the dutch gables. Around the eaves the fascia board, soffit board and gutters have been fitted.
Inside insulation has been fitted between the rafters and plywood bracing fitted to the rafters.
Windows and Doors
Shutters have been fitted to the french windows that overlook the canal and to the main entrance.
Work has started fitting out the electrics to the canoe store and shutters.
