With the builders finished and the Clubhouse opening it was time to have a major tidy of the site.
There were two areas to address and both required a bonfire. The first was the boundary hedge. We trim this each winter to remove dead wood, boughs that have fallen and twigs and branches that extend beyond the hedge. The other was waste from construction: metal was sorted for recycling; good timber was put to one side for possible future use; and waste timber was burnt.
