Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th July 2025
This two day course is open to all ages but is particularly suitable for adults and older children (10+).
The course takes place on the tranquil waters of the Basingstoke Canal, at Odiham.
Introductory Kayak Training - Paddle UK Discover Award (Kayak) with with the Paddlesafer Award
The course will cover all the elements required to introduce you to the sport of kayaking including
- All the basic paddling stokes to get you started
- Getting onto the water and journeying
- What to do in the event of a capsize
- Safer kayaking
- Clothing and equipment
All equipment is provided
Pre-requisites: None.
Cost: £65 for Club members and £85 for non-members
