Peter Mansell of Basingstoke and Deane Canoe Club was the winner of the Canoe England Volunteer and Recognition Awards 2013 for “Impact on Disability Canoeing”. Colin King, also of Basingstoke and Deane Canoe Club, was runner up in the same category.
Accessibility Policies
Whilst policies do not directly provide access and inclusion for all, they provide the basis for change.
Inclusion Policy
An Inclusion Policy is a key element of Basingstoke and Deane Canoe Club's (BADCC) policy framework for supporting the needs of all paddlers. This document has been produced to reflect good practice regarding effective inclusion.
Coaching For Inclusion
A key element in providing paddling for all regardless of any disability is the quality of the Club's coaches.
